To set up and bill a rental, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and delivery/billing address. Payment details (card number, bank account, etc.) are collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
We use this information to set up and bill your rental, coordinate delivery and pickup of your Unit, respond to support requests, and communicate account and billing updates (e.g. payment receipts, cancellation confirmations).
We share information only with the service providers that make your rental work: Stripe (payment processing) and our transactional email provider (billing and account emails). We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.
Our site uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep account and billing records for as long as your rental is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can ask us to delete information we aren't required to keep — see Contact below.
You can review and update your contact information any time from your account, or ask us to correct or delete it by reaching out directly.
Kinematic's service is intended for adults renting appliances for household use, not children.
